So I finally got all the parts together and had the gumption to spend a couple hours thinking this over and assembling it. Man, is this box stuffed...

This little box has just about everything in it you would ever need for a combustion cannon. This has stun gun ignition with a total gap of up to over an inch long. It has a 12 volt fan circuit. There are velcro strips on the bottom for use on any launcher and jacks on the sides for interchangeable fans, sparks, wired remote fan switch, and wired remote ignition for use on cannons with triggers.

This is also equipped with wireless ignition and fan control for distances I am not sure of because I was too lazy to walk that far. (I did test it at a couple hundred feet and it worked fine.)

Here are some nifty pictures for ya guys. (Click on em.)

I think Spudmonkey is onto something... Anyone pick up the hint that I might have a hybrid coming? Eh?...

And yeah, I got that box crammed with stuff but this has actually for some reason been one of the easiest boxes I've put together. I had no problems with this box. I love it.

That has to be one of the coolest control boxes ever. i could just imagine walking away from you the spud gun like nothings going to happen and pull out a remote and BOOM. How much did it cost you for the whole setup?

Well this box cost me somewhere around up to $80 in parts. If anyone were to order one of these from me I'd have to chare at least $110.

Getting everything in took some planning. I ended up taping the wireless board to the cover as you can see. The rest of it is similar to how I normally wire it. I had to trim the board a little for a better fit around the screw holed in the lid. Overall, this box fits together well with no cramping of parts.

Nice idea, though I would have used:
A. Wire because I don't need to be THAT far away, Just hide behind a wall or smth
B. An old GSM phone. Gives you virtually unlimited range and you can program it to shoot by using the phone's schedule/alarm clock 8)

If you do stick to radio control, perhaps you might consider going a step further and making a servo-controlled stand.

If you didn't notice, I do have wired remote fan and ignition ports.

And the range on that remote control is incredible. Timed shots are unsafe and so is the ability to shoot from anywhere. If you mean "virtually anywhere" as in anywhere in your yard then this remote by far has that covered. And for $25, I'll buy a remote relay board to have it all look nice and fit in this small box and not have to mess with a shitty phone.

Yeah I have been thinking about remote reloading, venting, and aiming. It sounds nice but that wont happen til I am really bored and have a lot of money.

whate you need, instead of the puny little safety switch i guess if thats what it is, the on off switch. You should use something like a nos arming switch, works the same way it just looks 10x more badass, like a missle launch button.

Mihlrad delete the link to that image, it's messing up Gorts thread and everyones viewing....

That's the sweetest control box i've ever seen, lol A and B wireless remote....

And that's wireless board? It looks like it's custom PCB to me, lol , well I'm retarded...

Whats with the quarters... I like your relay arming sequence Idea though...

Hmm I might make one of these or order from you... Did you make the stun gun ignition by yourself? 555, transformer and what not?

what you really need is an old or new ignition key there mostly electric now and that would be sweet to have a key to turn it on and off with (if you put it on there and sell it you better say jjk92 came up with this idea)

Theres only so much he can fit in there, a keyhole thing can be like 1 and half 2 inches long, he pretty much said he cant fit anything else in there. All in all its an amazing job by gort, well done nice setup.
