SuperGun Barrel

I did some research on the Supergun, once the shell was fired, the ammo moved down the tube setting off multiple charges and gaining speed after every charge. For a spudgun, you could wrap the barrel in sections filled with propane and wrap the barrel itself in a thin possibly flammable film, once the flame or expanding gas hits these they will rupture the film and ignite the propane further propelling the potato down the barrel.

Hard to say but your ideas are absolutly user hostile(not friendly).Who is going to build that thing? And more interesting who is going to reload it?Can't you just expand the chamber by a little?

Its a good idea but way too complicated for any if our purposes. Still nice idea.

I found a good idea for a pneumatic way of doing it, it's not mine though.

The pneumatic version is really cool. But there are lots of things that could go wrong while trying to make it work.

The problem is that unless you have a really long barrel, you wouldn't notice an increase in performance. You'd just be wasting air/propane. 1:1 ratio is good enough for power.

The original supegun was like 300 ft long, they had to build it on the side of a hill.
