Damn watching this makes me realize 3 things:
1. I am getting old
2. we haven't got a simple to use portable hybrid yet
3. mobile c. uses some tarded sounds in his vids

1.) My joints crack and pop when I get out of bed in the morning. But I also run a little more than I should.
2.) Not entirely true... what do you want, a repeater?
3.) Random helicopter shot GNAR! :D :D :D :D

1. - if you were actually really old..
3. - you would know those 'weird' sounds are taken directly from DOOM video games! lol.

2. - yes... we still don't have one :(

Ah yes, one of the very first cannons I saw on this site, I still find it pretty inspirational.

This prototype still has the pneumatic trigger but computer is fully programmed for electronic trigger with laser range finder and velocity control operation. 40x127mm shell casings are ejected out the right side of the receiver. Three round magazine shown. Titanium ballast with blow forward sealing bolt and positive force piston valve, operating pressure TBD. Production models will have dual manifold mounted stabilizers and picatinny rail. I will post videos and more pics when complete. Stock and mags are currently 3D printed until we settle on design for injection molding. The ejection system and LRF, computer and batteries will also get covers.

Built this one awhile ago, sch 80 PVC, 150psi shoots a golf ball at 1000fps (measured)
Uses a 35in pneumatic cylinder for elevation, and an 8in pneumatic cylinder to actuate the rear valve
Coaxial with a 10ft 2in diameter sch80 pvc barrel and a 4ft by 4in (I think?) chamber
4700ft hypothetical range (never shot it for maxium distance)

Main pic with me for scale

Rear venting/valve assembly (bottom part is a reducer for the saftey pop off valve)

Here is a picture of the rear assembly with electrically triggered pneumatically actuated valve

Is the pneumatic elevation mechanism related to some sort of precision range or targeting function?

Also props for the dive angle on that Stuka, there really is no better way to pose it.
