I want to have a go at using Sketchup, I am a complete noob with it, anybody know of any good guides, and does Sketchup use warehouse models?? I will be building mostly from small bore tubing, nothing over 1/4" BSP at the moment. :D

Thanks

You'd be better off learning a more traditional CAD program like SolildWorks or something along the same lines. About %80 of the fittings on McMaster have an associated STEP file you can download and import which will work in just about any CAD suite, and makes quick and dirty 3d modeling a lot easier.

I'll have a look at Solid works, I would rather use it to be honest, more of a industry standard I guess.

My first attempt at solid works, thanks to tutorials on youtube, more of a test just to get the hang of it. Going to make a Kriss Vector lookalike eventually.
