If you would like to seek a answer or submit a cannon PM me by clicking the "PM" button at the bottom of this post. In your subject put "Spudgun Build-Off!". For a cannon being submitted to the contest use the same Subject title, and in the body of the document provide a link to the cannon and the name of the cannon. -COMPETITION RULES-

1- This contest is iniated as of 7/15/06 with it concluding 10/31/06.
2- For a gun to win it must not be completed prior to the date of 7/15/06. Although that does not dis-qualify guns that may be "partially" finished. [B the B’s cannon being a exception]
3- There is NO limit on cannon entering.
4- All cannons will be entered the same method, then if such a cannon deserves a award a judge will deem its category. Hence a cannons category will only be assumed prior to judging.
5- There is 6 categories in which a cannon may win:
---1) Aesthetics
---2) Power
---3) Rate of fire [Projectile diameter MUST be or exceed .5”]
---4) Portability
---5) Uniqueness/ "New-ness" in Concept
---6) Material used [Essentially a ratio trying to balance a well rounded cannon over cost]
6- Judges may enter, and may be ever DOOMED for "pushing" there cannon.
7- A winning cannon must have several pictures depicting the different features of the given cannon.
8- To win either of the "Power" or "Rate of Fire" categories a video must be included. This video MUST include both a video of the launcher shooting and a video of the projectile hitting a target. Sound is not required, but a plus. (I dont have sound on my camera)
9- Winners of each will category will receive a prize. Prizes MAY not present themselves in a physical form.
10- Rules are to come, although build your cannon soon to evade future rules;-)

QUESTIONS ASKED BY OTHER MEMBERS-

Q- Where do we enter cannons?
A- Under the correct "Submit" categorie just like you would do regardless of this contest, but following the submission send me the cannon name and a link to the cannon. Remeber this must have form on the page to be accepted.

Q- Can we enter more than one for a single catagory?
A- Refer to rule #4. Cannons are not submited according to there categorie, rather by there type of propulsion. And yes, multiple of one cannon may be submitted.

Q- Who judges?
A- Good question, the mods and admin. PCGUY, BCPneumatics, SpudShot, BoilingLeadBath, Gort, and Pimp.

Q- How can you allow brians shotgun into the compitition it was made before the contest began?
A- Well I needed a example to work off of, and so I allowed him to enter in exchange if I could use his gun as a example. Hes kinda has the odds stacked against him because of it, and if someone else even makes a decent laucher they will most likely win over him since of the completion date.

Q- Where do we submit videos?
A- Contact PCGUY on AIM or MSNM.
