6-Way 1 1/2" solenoid valve?

i found this "spa pool filter" being sold on Trademe a New Zealand version of eBay,i looked at the first pic and thought that looks loke a solenoid valve, the person selling is not sure but says its 6-way and around 1 or 1 1/2" valve.have a look for yourself.....

its the thing on top of the barrel thing with a black top.

no,we have a in ground swimming pool,and that is not a solenoid valve. you lift on the handle on the top and click it into notches on the side by the handle . in this picture,you can see the back of the handle (the black thing on the top of the valve). It directs water out different pipes for when you backwash the filter and stuff. besides,those things will blow out above 30 psi they are not built to withstand very much pressure. ours says 35 psi max, water only,or somthing to that effect. and ours has 12 bolts arround the side,not the 6 on that one. I wouldnt risk it.

ok lol, i wasnt gonna buy it anyway i was just interested as the price was $1 but now its like $50

Yeah, that's a manual selector valve. I have one on my pool filter for backflushing and other cleaning functions. Even if they could handle pressure, they wouldn't be very practical.

Spudinator and UTCPyro on spudtech came damn near close with their 4 chambered cannons.

Nah, but spudinator split a can of propane at the seam with a frozen potato slug if i'm not mistaken.
