It doesn't matter a whole lot. The max pressure your barrel will get is 60-70 psi, and that's with a propane cannon with a perfectly fitting projectile.

......Cool, what about the chamber, im only going to be putting around 60psi of propane/butane in there, so would i need pressure rated pipe for that, if so, rated to how many Bars?

Wow you are making a Hybrid? You should only put a very small abount of propane in there.

I think you should leave the hybrids to the experts. Have you noticed that there are way less hybrid cannons in the showcase than any other cannon, do you know why? Because they all died before being able to post it. lol Just kidding. But really you should build some more cannons before attempting a hybrid.

Maybe i'll just stick with a Combustion then, i favour Combustion over Pneumatic, because theyre a hell of a lot easier to build, and you can find the parts basically anywhere...So i'll just use my money to build a big ass Combustion, i already have most of the parts. For the ignition i'll use arts of one of those Electric Fly Swats, i'll just remove the mesh and attatch wires to the electrodes. Thanks for your help guys, i'll go draw up my design now.

Ah, For a hybrid you WILL need sch 80 pressure rated fittings. It takes a lot of knowlage to build a hybrid. you need to do more research before you attempt to build anything.

if you didnt know you had to use pressure pipe for a hybrid you probably shouldnt be building one until you research more chunky.

Well i was going to make a Hybrid, but when everyone says 'oh god you're going to die!', its a little off-putting. So i'll just be making a large Combustion instead, i've already started on my Propane Meter, and it seems to be working perfectly.
