Hi, I put together an insanely poweerful propane injected cannon that fires tennis balls. I really want to make a video of it firing at various targets to show its power, but I have idea what to do that could make it interesting. any ideas? thankx

Tennis Balls Filled with water, concrete, match heads, playdoh, ect..., shooting at plywood, carhoods, booble heads of the president, metal trashcans, ect...

Other than that show the loading and firing sequence of the gun and a shot from on the barell. How about some good soundn and titles.

The match head one would be cool. Shoot some cinder blocks which makes some thing look way more powerful than it actually is.

try shooting lots of things at aerosol cans full of cool stuff like foamy shaving cream or silly string

Do that from a good distance but because the cans might shoot metal. (I dont think they would but, I asume they would just split down the middle )

Mix it up! Put the camera downrange!
(ok, maybe not. However, veiws from the side are often nice.)

...on another note, there are two things you should look for in your camera: high frame rate and really fast frames. The first allows you to see more frames of the projectile, the second makes the action less blured.

...oh, and use a tripod.

take it to a tennis court, and show it shooting and wedging the tennis balls in the fence.

how about play tennis with a blow-up doll holding a racquet?only you dont have a racquet....
