Theres lots of old houses around where i live to i went to salvage some stuff i could possibly make use of and i found a big blue tank wich is about 2-3 feet tall and about 1 foot wide (Rough estimation.) it has a valve on it like on a tire is there any use i could make of this lol.

Sounds like a old portable air tank for pumping up tires. Or, you could make that out of it. ??

Lol i was thinking along the lines of something like a spud gun but i could make it a portable compressor type thing my mom says its a backup water tank thing it was filled with something black (no it wasnt sewage.) so idk i could pop a hole in the top attach a pipe then a simple ball valve then another pipe lol.

I would stand a long way away when you fill that for a pneumatic because you never know what pressure it is rated for, unless it says on the side somewhere. But you would need a very long barrel.

doesnt have a rating on it but its pretty thick and its steel so it could probly hold some preasure.

Well then it should be able to hold alot of pressure. Add a very very long barrel, pump and up and you are set. I reckon you should start at 100psi and work your way up to say 200.

Im not sure how old it is so ill hook up like 6 compressor hoses and get a good way back 'cause i dont feel like having to go get steel shrapnel pulled out of me

Atleast steel shows on X-Rays lol.

There is a very large field where i live and it has a HUGE pile of dirt in it ill hide behind it and pump it to 100 then 120 then 140 and so on highest ill go is 220 then i consider it good enough lol.

PVC also shows up on X-Rays. Shrapnel is a big proplem, but I've seen what happens when the top of a helium tank pops off, pneumatic 50 pound rocket.

I have always wonderd where the myth of PVC not showing up on X-rays came from, I guess probably the same place that said Glocks didn't show up on them either.

There is a pistol that does'nt show up, it's all plastic, the ammo and would still show up. I'm not exactly sure where it started, people probably just assumed it didn't. Bones show up and they're not metal.

There is no pistol that wont show up, what would the barrel be made of, unless it uses like a round with like 1 grain of powder the barrel would have to be made of a material that is radio-opaque, even if there is a plastic that would hold back the 3000psi that a pistol round creates it would show up on an x-ray.

Oh i thought PVC didnt show up on X-rays lol.

An all plastic gun sound more like a bomb lol the thing would explode when you pulled the trigger :P

i know what it is, it's a rain water tank. so yeah it's backup water, from rain, the black stuff is all the leaves and other crap that forms down the bottom, so the water in there is fine to drink coz the shi' sinks to the bottom!
