i'm going to sleeve my 3'" wide barrel. the only prob i got is that idk how much i should cut out, wht to use...(hack saw isn't strait a line enough is it?) and i know it's a pain to get the sleeve into the barrel so once its in there how do i fill the small gap inbetween? i've seen that people put straitend coat hangers into it but dow i do putty it up to stay in and be smooth?

hey this is paul(i hope this is alex im talking to, if not forhet what im saying) i think u should use a mider box to cut the pipe or make a jig. and u should definatly try to fill the gap before putting it in the barrel. ..... and i havent built a neumatic yet so i might be wrong but ill talk to you when i start it.

ok sry i just thought of a good idea (but again i have not done it before) ..ok if a table saw is not available u could make a large jig with 2x4s but it would have to be precise. and if ur trying to sleeve it down for tennis balls theres a pvc and sprinkler parts outlet downtown that sells 2.5" sch40 and 80. this works very well for tennis balls .....just an idea aim me if you want more info
