diaphragm pistol completed!!

this is my new diaphragm pistol. The chamber is 1 1/2 inches and the barrel is 1/2. The diaphragm is just a circle of 3/16 neoprene. 3/8 inch ball valve for the pilot valve. i was going to use a blowgun with a hose so the gun only took one hand to operate but it didnt release the air fast enough.
oh and one question, is there any way i can reduce dead space? i cut the barrel a little too short so there is alot of room between the end of the barrel in the chamber and the pilot valve. i dont really want to glue anything on because as of now the cannon works fine (My first functioning homemade valve cannon). i was thinking of just sticking on a 1/2 inch coupling on the end of the barrel in the gun to add length and reduce the dead space. probably wouldnt hold pressure with glue though.
Im also going to add a small onboard bike pump
by the schrader on the bottom of the handle was where i was going to fill the gun from. then i decided to put it in the cap instead because of more convenient bike pump placement. plus its smart to have it behind the diagphragm
