try asking him if he'll go with you to a place with airsoft guns and talk to the sales guy about safety and stuff. show him safety stuff you printed off the internet, try doing house work and sh**. like spud stuff sayed, you have to earn the privilige.

tell him It's better than drugs, and they cant hurt anyone because of the fps. just build one.

Well you could say you you are gonna make a flamethrower instead.

That would make him even less likley to get you one. That is THE worst idea I have heard in a long time!
