is there a certain type of regulator i need to use for a propane injection or do i just use a air regulator that has a gauge on it?

you can get a mr. heater regulator for propane, the only good thing it adds is that its not self relieving, meaning when you lower the pressure propane doesnt leak out to even the pressure, an air regulator will work fine

no, you'd need to put a pressure gauge on your meter pipe instead
