would it be possible to build a combustion gun using of those juice jugs at the supermarket as a compustion chamber? of would it not withstand the pressure and explode? keep in mind they have thicker sides then coke or water bottles.

also, if it IS ok, what would be the best way of attaching it to a PVC barrel that fits very tightly into the bottle's mouth? right now i have duct tape, but i have doubts about the safety of that.

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried using a polyethylene garden spray bottle for a combustion chamber , or if anyone has ever built a combustion model with two feet or more of the barrel inside the combustion chamber . so far I have used only pvc .

Dont waste your time on a chamber made out of a bottle. Just make your chamber out of PVC so all the pipes fit together. Using a bottle is dangerous even though I know alot of people that have done this and have not been hurt, just dont chance it.
