how to make the spark gap on a bbq ignitor

just got a bbq ingintor and i want to put a gap so i get a spark but i dont know how to mount it on the ignitor or how far away to put it or what material to make it out of...any help would be great

i didnt want to use screws...i want to make something like this but i dont know how to mount the metal gap thing

you dont want to do that, your ignitor being in the chamber GREATLY weakens the chamber, and if its not secured well the ignitor can rocket out of the hole. the screws are a much better method, you can also wire multiple spark gaps from one ignitor, and you can make a nice handle to put the ignitor in, makes it alot easier to hold your gun too

do it right or dont do it at all.
its a [female dog] to do that anyways, with the screw method, just drill 2 holes, use 2 screws, use the wires that came with the ignitor, wrap the screws, and tape the igniter.
besides, a lighter like that leaks, its hard to put it in the walls and it hurts to fire it if u put it in a cap.
