This is a decent, cheap regulator. If you do not want this one than I still reccomed palmers regulators:http://www.palmer-pursuit.com/ecom/prod ... d2bd7f7344

This is a cheap remote line:http://www.speedytoys.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1145
Post your set up when you are done!!

Some people use propane to fill pnuematics because it's cheap and relatively stable.

oh well not me. the reason i chose hpa over co2 is cause it dosnt get as cold when it expands and from what ive heard propane does get pretty cold it it expands to fast to.

If you can find it on ebay, get it. Its a good reg for the buck. Take it from a paintball player. Its not as good as a palmers but it can keep up. If you go on pbreview.com, it has good reviews for a reg thats only 25. That company is also very trust worthy. if you have any questions, jus ask.

also, heres a cheaper remote line

gahhh i still dont like the idea of making homemade propane devices. if it leaks, youll find yourself in a pickle................

basically, i want to use it, but my parents wont let me because they dont trust my crafstmanship............ i was gonna make a fully automatic airsoft rifle too.............. sighhh.........

any ways i could convince them?

Unless you happen to walk past an open flame while your gun is leaking like mad, you shouldn't have any problems.

Remember- Teflon tape, then a healthy coat of Teflon paste. No leaks guaranteed.

yes. tell them that you changed your mind and just bought parts for a flame thrower that uses high octane aviation fuel and a welding torch for ignition. works every time.

just for the record, its best that you dont really build one.

ok well i ordered the parts for my hpa setup from palmer yesterday and im about to start building my gun but i have a few mathematic questions.

i have a 5 ft piece of sdr 21 golf ball barrel sleeved in a 5 ft piece of sch 80. i have a 2 inch sprinkler valve and then im not sure if im going to do a over an under or what but it will be all 2 inch fittings up to the chamber. so my question is in order to get the best performance what would be the best size chamber for this gun? i was thinking about going with a foot long section of 4 inch but didn't want to buy the pipe till i got some help from you guys. and also im going to buy a 88 cui 4500 psi hpa tank and i need to know how many times i can fill the chamber up to 125 psi.

any help would be great and im aware this is kinda lame me asking for help with this stuff but im serious i wouldn't know where to begin.

Download GGDT (in the Wiki or Google) and use that to tell you.
