Double Barreled Shotgun Concept

The fittings are not shown attached to the barrels, because I can't rotate a 2D image in 3D, so I left them off to the side. The barrels would be side-by side, using the shortest T I could find, and possibly modifying elbows to make them shorter so that my barrels have as little space in between them as possible. I am going to add a breachloading system similar to what is on the fish killer if that's ok with him. I didn't include that in the picture because I was too lazy to find a photo of it to cut out, and place. The chamber wraps around and doubles as a stock, and the double barrel section will be threaded, so I can remove it if I wish. I have a setup in the works that will allow me to use it for airsoft. It will use two airchambers, one main, and one for firing. There will be two pressure gauges, one for the main, and one for the smaller firing section. Two valves will obviously be there also, a ball valve to fill up the small reservior, and a blowgun for firing airsoft pellets, which could either be a strafing section or sniper. This whole airsoft setup would thread onto the gun when the double barrel section is removed. I will make an image of this soon, but right now I am really tired and lazy feeling

So, what do you think?

thats a good idea but would the two barrels be taking quite abit of power out of it like say you fired that with one barrel the force at wich that projectile goes should be halved.I think?

Yeah, I would have a larger pressure chamber than normal, as you can see it goes a long ways.

EDIT: Yeah, my last day is tomorrow, but its a half day and I do absolutely nothing.

i agree with imperialist even with a lager pressure chamber the gun will still be weaker than a one barrel gun would be unless you had 2 smaller air chambers and could connect one to one barrel and one to the other than you could do something good but the trigger would be a problem

ammosmoke you obviously live in the Northern Hemisphere or somewhere else because it's friday right now and saturday?

anyway i think a double barreled gun's lack of a single arrelled guns pressure is made up for by the double shot by far.Make sure you make a buckshot rond and nail a coke can into wood and hammer it from like 2cm away (i did this with my bbmg and i got welts on my cheek).

Yeah it looks kewl but you have to figure out a way to fire one barrel at a time as well as using both! now that would be cool!

Yeah, I live in the Northern Hemisphere I think..... I am in the US. But I believe that day was a Thursday. Today it is Sunday. Hmm selective barrels? That sounds interesting.. but a little costly. That would probably require three ball valves and a little bit of dead-space. One ball valve for each barrel, and a main valve. I could open both barrel valves for a double shot. I could always make it as an upgrade I suppose.
