For years Ive been shooting/building combustion cannons. but lately i cant stomp thinking about them. lately i havnt stopped building ghetto lil cannons. actauly up untill yesterday i hadnt slept for almost a week. (i slept 16 hours last night to yesterday though) and the whole time i was building stuff. I think im going insane. when i ran out of matierials i started making lil bombs...well so small they were fire works really. ...except for the one made out of a big vodka bottle. there was glass raining down for almost 10 seconds after. I feel like a crack head. or like i do when i havnt had a smoke in a few days lol.

Dude, would you be offended if I called you weird... only kidding, I think we all get it to a certain extent.. some just more than others...

this is really strange I've heard of cases where people become adicted to internet, WoW, xbox, and other activities but spud guning and an actual adiction

that vodka botttle seems unsafe, how did you get the spark gap ...but don't tell me you drilled it , a champagne bottle would probably be safe

Been called weird so often.. had a friends pot head brother (guys like 25) sayin we were all gonna end up in prison. then gigled his ass of. but im rambling. girlfriends only divert me for so long. lol. i still end up on the weekend with a bottle of tequilla, fuses, gun powder, an a few spud guns. suprised im not dead yet. used to try an make bombs when i was stoned outa my mind. iono. i think what started this addiction full blown, was when i made a realy basic spud gun because my friends had never seen one, and that night we ended up having the potato somehow get threw a chain link fence, then go threw a car window, and do some damage to the door. too bad it didnt start going down like that or the driver and passenger windows would be gone. i was amazed.

I get called wierd also (in the good sense) mostly because I'm the only kid in my dumb school who likes spudguns.

actually i've been thinking about building a mini trebuchet for a long time. Not a table top one but like 6ft maybe. but then I get these weird day dreams about mounting it on my roof and declaring war on my neighbors across the street.

I get "teased" in my family because I build spudguns, but its all in good humour. The kids at my school have a certain respect for me BECAUSE i build spudguns (I'd never shoot anyone.. but they dont know that!)

not many people know we do it outside my group of friends(taught em all they know ). Ive been homeschooled for years, actualy in community college right now so theres no real school setting for me. on the not shooting people. we made a mini spud gun the other day out of steel pipe and a gatorade bottle. maybe 1 inch or so. maybe smaller. i think as long as we're 15 feet away from each other theyed be safe to shoot each other. be like a paintball gun almost. would leave a nasty welt though.

My girlfriends also homeschooled... Sounds awesome! I guess if you run at them from 15 feet away it might hurt a bit more though! (Out of control dude with mini ) I still wouldnt feel safe though!

a few years back before i made a real spud gun, i made a few pill bottle minis and we would either use them as airsoft guns when we were short on guns, or just have battles with them. shoots either q-tips or airsoft bbs and it was pretty fun


i kind of feel the same way. Earlier this week i got the idea for a halo rocket launcher and i just sit at work and research and think about it all day, and then get home and want to tell my friends about it but only one cares. then i go shoot my over/under into his lake a few times and then light up and continue thinking about it. its like an obsession. i just hope the obsessiveness of it makes me put the effort for a sweet spud gun

Yeah, i rate its a disease! I name it: spudisease! I also get it when Im designing a new cannon. Had it a couple weeks back!

haha. well I made a mini earlier out of a huge thick vitamin bottle, the material reminds me of pvc almost :S well its got this tiny barrel out of an air soft gun. its shooting the BB's as far as i think you can shoot them with their weight. theres a sweet pop to it. but i blew the back off it at one point an now i have a big like 2in diameter purplish welt on my stomach XD my friend thought i was crazy. it kinda sounded like his .22 rifle. scared the hell outa me.
