Hey
I planning on making a BB sniper rifle. I live in Australia and as you know we cant get bb bullets anywhere. so i looked on Mcmaster and they sell 6mm ball bearings. I was wondering if i will have any trouble getting them in Australia if i buy them.

Thanks
Marco

EDIT: I also know i need a brake line cable thing. What exactly is it called? i googled it and came up with these weird looking braided cable things. Any help would be appreciated
I want something like This guns barrel

Good luck getting McMaster to ship to Aus, they won't even ship to Canada now. They may accept your order, but don't expect to actually receive anything in the mail.

you might be able to get them at camping stores, or you could look around and buy 6mm lead sinkers from places like kmart and fishing shops.

What you're gonna need to do is evaluate the situation and materials to find them closer to home.

Ball bearings are used in a number of applications from rotary to linear/planar bearings, (things that moving parts move on to reduce friction). That being said, you need to look at some sort of industrial supply near you for some 6mm bearings.

9/32" or 1/4" "brakeline" are actually, more broadly concerned, aluminum hydraulic tubing. Look for a place that sells hydraulic cylinders, valves, and the like and you're likely to find some sort of metric equivalent.

Hey
Thanks for the info everyone. I'm using one of my brothers aluminium arrow shafts which are 6mm ID. I'm going to look around for 6mm bearings.

For my Aussie Plinker I used some 6mm aluminium tube from toy world and I bought some (expensive) steel bb's off eBay. I just bought 200 6mm glass beads of eBay yesterday and they were pretty cheap, like 10 bucks for 200.
