9v Ignition?

I was wondering if i could setup a circuit using a 9 volt battery, a button, and two screws to create a spark, or is 9 volts simply not enough voltage? I would just build it and see, but I don't feel like wasting a button.

9 v
= .008 mm
That is a very small spark gap... but you might be able to drive a ignition coil with the battery.

Im assuming that a piezo sparker produces a somewhat high voltage but very low current? Now, an ignition coil.. define what those are? Im guessing its one of those cigarette lighter things in a car

A typical piezo will give you about 30,000v. And you are correct, the current is pretty low.
An ignition coil... in a car: yes. Used for lighting cigarettes: no. They are similar to flyback transformers.

so how do you hook up an ignition coil? are there any guns on here that have that type of ignition

Do you have any pictures of what this device looks like, because I'm honestly confused as to what it is.
