Why don't we all actually start editing this, it is inaccurate, does not tell you much at all..

So why don't we actually put what we know in there?

Are we too lazy? Come on! we could build an information centre out of it!

I'll start adding stuff from now.. and I hope more people will follow!

By the time I think of something someone else has already done it.
I don't think that the wiki lacks information, it just needs to be reviewed and possibly edited.

One thing about any Wiki that troubles me is that they are opinionated. Not that, that is a bad thing. It's just people see things differently, know what I mean? Can we put total trust in total strangers?

If you want to see more information you should add it yourself. Thats the beauty of the system.

I did do quite a bit of work towards it myself, but got sidetracked by other things, I keep doing that.

I'll chip away at it a bit more some time soon...

The first (different) idea that comes to mind is to write an explanation of why each forum rule is in place.
Like explaining why solid propellant is banned (and expanding on what exactly solid propellant means, as there is often some misunderstanding), why spudguns are not suitable for hunting... all of these things.

Of course, some one else is welcome to start it before me - just make sure you link it in properly, else no-one will ever find it.

Well I wrote this:
http://www.spudfiles.com/spud_wiki/inde ... _Rated_PVC

And it took like two hours...I don't have that much time on my hands.

And care to explain what in the Wiki is wrong? I'm sure there is something, but I wouldn't know where to start.

1. Several people do regularly edit the wiki.
2. "it is inaccurate" Where? Why don't you fix it?
3. "does not tell you much at all" Actually, it has a large amount of information. If evey new member to spudfiles read through the wiki before posting, the number of dumb-ass NOOB posts would drop to about zero.

I can't much disagree with that, but it could contain more, and unfortunately, it's not all structured in the most helpful manner.

This is is something of a problem for the would-be editor.
Sometimes it's best to be rather unreserved when rearranging things to try to make it most useful, but then again, wading in and shoving things around the page feels harsh and crude.

(BTW, I filled out the information on your 12g CO2 cartridge)
