I keep hearing about how these supah valves make your pneaumatics so much better, but im not actually sure what they do. How are they different to a normal sprinkler valve?
Can anyone help me?

That and they have a faster actuation speed than a normal piston, Joel compares it to a diaphragm valve.

Bah, you guys eat the sales pitch right up...

The supah valve is simply a well-built chamber-sealing pilot valve.
It has been demonstrated that piston mass doesn't matter very much to oppening time (and infact sometimes acheives the opposite of the expected effect); a diaphram isn't much faster opening than a piston valve.
Chamber-sealing valves open slightly slower than barrel-sealing valves.

The main thing that's special about the supah valve is it's high flow, which is due to the 2" porting and only 90* of inside turns. Opening time is comparable to any other valve.
