Does this forum have an ignore feature?

Most forums I frequent have an ignore feature. You know, there's a particular user who drives you fracking batty. You have the choice of going apeshit and murdering a family of six or ignoring them. Fortunately, the software allows you to ignore them (their posts don't even show up for you) and all is well in the world.
But I've not seen or heard talk of an ignore feature here....
...And that family down the street is looking good.
(Either that, or somebody teach Maggotman how to write in something that resembles English, eh?)

Makes you want to "reach out and slap someone" don't it.

I feel like quoting The Fifth Element: "I only speak two languages, English and bad English."
Now, I speak bad English pretty well. Unfortunately, maggotman speaks it somewhat better than me.
Not to be unfair maggotman - although I can get through your posts, there is a point here. You'd get much better results if you could be clearer in your posting.
And think of the family of six! Do you want that on your conscience?

Thinking of the family of six? I think weapons testing, not conscience. Ask yourself the question? are you really a spudgunner if you think like that?
(jokes)..
While maggotman's posts use poor english and he performs his fair share of stupid acts (we all do) at least he isn't a total (cuss) like rastamuffin or the likes.
But nope, I don't think there is an ignore feature..

Unfortunately SpudFiles does not have anything currently built in for this, however in the next upgrade there will be a feature very similar.

Simple things like throwing in full stops and capitalisations would make a big difference, both of which are missing from the post above.
Also, although every word there passes a spell checker, you've fallen foul of "misspell checking" - mixing up "really" and "relay" as well as "through" and "threw".
However, even without fixing those, see the difference in your post from capitalising I, adding two full stops, a comma and an apostrophe:
maggotman wrote:I'm sorry if I use crap English, but I relay don't like typing and I am a crap speller. I use spell check when I can but if I went threw every post and made it relay good I would never get to the point.
I know several people with dyslexia, so I can appreciate difficulties with spelling (even if we still tease Sheep about his "Heath and Safety" poster).
However, the grammar rules and punctuation - unlike spelling - aren't hard to remember and apply, and they make a big difference in the intelligibility of a post.
Now, while I'm ranting - and not that it applies to you (it doesn't) - line breaks are also important. There is little worse than a solid block of text that is not only grammar and punctuation free.
Except a block of text that is also spelling free - and worse, one that uses txt speak - and even worse, one which is completely space free. unoexactlythekindofthingimeandontuandifurstillreadingihave2telluitsveryhard4me to not automatically space my words... crap, I've started posting sense again.
EDIT: I couldn't get through to the site either. Don't know if everyone's been having problems though.

You might be able to do something from your end, depending on what browser you're using. Greasemonkey scripts are a good start:

Luckily for you, you can just ignore these members. I have to go through and edit the posts, maybe delete some, PM the member(s) with a lengthy explanation so they have some idea what i'm trying to say and then hope they don't go all shitty on me and start yelling at me via the PM system.
Damn I love coming back from a weekend away to discover 50 new topics just waiting for me to go through

Your not the only one working the forum!
Remember I'm the one who got called a "Dumbass moronic moderator".
Whats the worst you got called by any member?

Nothing that bad by such a senior member. But i've recieved a fair amount of abuse from tens of new members, maybe even hundreds...no one knows

I think Crowley was told to shove a spudgun up his @ss by Rastamuffin. Lol, sometimes it makes me wan't to send someone an email with a fist that comes out of the screen and hits them square on the nose.
''Hey look, I got an email from Mr. Puetersmidt!'' *Click* *Thud* lmao.
But really, we need a button that allows us to ignore some peoples posts, but we also need a ban from the internet button. But think you might have someones posts blocked and someone else doesn't, the person who's posts are blocked for you asks a question while someone else answers it. Then you wouldn't know what their post goes to.

I no I caused this but whats wrong with just ignoring it or looking at someone else's post if you see something you don't like don't look at it only makes sense.

Because a well written post is much easier to read. No one expects you to be perfect, just put some effort into your posting. Once you get use to it, it becomes second nature.
