I always like looking back at previous guns i've seen on this site and i think others do to so why not have the ability to favorite cannons? yes, i know theres such thing as a bookmark but i don't like having a whole bunch of book marks and i share a computer so you can probably see the friction that could happen

. so, discuss...

well that would be a lot of work for pc guy. making a module, and have it linked to each user. not to mention the space and processing power of the server it would use.
why not have 1 page every month, and we vote and decide for a favorite cannon of the month for the pneumatic, combustion, airsoft, hybrid, and mini sections.
just an idea

Somewhat possible, actually. PCGUY has asked if I could assist with making the site front page more active, and like him, I've found it's very difficult to decide what to put on it.
I don't want to just suggest things for the front page that I might like, but the idea that at the end of each month, we could have a topic to nominate and vote for the cannons that were submitted in that month with the winner(s) getting a place on the forum front page for that month, is a perfectly feasible one.

How exactly do you "bookmark" a threaD? I'm surprised I didn't know you could do this on here.

Sounds good to me to have a section where top rated cannons go

I think that french forum does something like that. They call it the hall of fame. Sounds like a fun idea. We would need a pretty damn big hall of fame here since so many of our cannons kick the unusual ammount of ass.

Those kind of things tend to die rather quickly, especially when material dries up.

We could just have the most viewed threads and most posted threads for the last 30 days, 7 days, and 24 hours, linked on the home page. That way you could easily see where the action was.

There used to be a cannon rating system built into this build of the forums actually, could give it a rating on a scale of 1/10 and you could sort by rating to see the "highest rated cannons" but for some reason people never used it.

We could use a "like" system similar to facebook
This would be a good idea, there are a lot of great designs buried in the archives, this forum moves fast enough for some cannons to be missed and the "random cannon" feature is certainly useful.
