Browsing this forum for the past few weeks, i have been made to filter through all the bull crap and trash posted by boyntonstu.

boyntonstu's topics are almost always quickly turned into arguments in which he refuses to take any form of criticism, and repeatedly trashes any comments made by others, including respected members of this forum, as well as our moderators.

When he replies to other topics, boyntonstu always manages to turn the topic belly up with the above mentioned techniques.

I believe it is time to ban this arrogant member.
If requested, i shall make a poll.

While I'm not saying that Stu should be banned*, an anti-social "style" is certainly a valid reason for banning.

*It's not my decision to make. But I do think he needs to buck his ideas up, stop taking other people's posts confrontationally and stop making his own so confrontational.

In fairness to Stu.....he shouldn't be exiled from SF. I do find it annoying that he seems to see everything he touches as an "Invention" but, I also have to give him credit for always looking to create something. Creating something new is what everyone on SF does or should be doing. I'm sure it offends people that Stu is his own best supporter, but in reality, people thought Tesla and Edison were nuts too, yet they did that which they believed in rather than listen to their detractors. Now, I'm not equating Stu with Edison and Tesla, but like them, he does believe in what he "Invents" and he defends it. For that I give him credit. I don't necessarily like his egotistical presentations and demeanor but, I also have the choice of not reading them.

In short....I'd never nominate him for Mr. Congeniality but, most of us on SF could never win that title. Don't ban him.

Indeed. I dont think he should be banned either. i think its good he invents things, his attitude just could use a little adjustment. And velocity has a good point that we dont have to read them, but that can also be said for stu as well.

it works both ways. To be totally honest, I think this whole situation has blown up a little too far.

I suggest the mods simply lock this, and any further discussion anyone might wish to have with Stu be taken up via PM.

If you don't like him, ignore him. He obviously acts like a child, so we have to treat him like one. If you ignore him, he has no one to argue with. A ban is not necessary.
