1 inch brass pipe pressure?
How much do you think some 1 inch threaded brass pipe could hndle? Im planning a small coaxial.

I'd say it could take more pressure than you could realistically generate, I'd be comfortable using it at at least 250 psi.

It would depend on whether it was SCH40 or SCH80, although either one would be safe at a reasonably high pressure. Most 1" brass fittings I have seen are rated to 125psi, with some at 200 or 400, although a 400psi brass fitting of any kind would cost you an arm and a leg. As for the pipe, I don't really know the ratings, but I would tend to agree with Jack.

I have a 1" sch40 threaded brass nipple on my hybrid (you can see it behind one of the ball valves). I really need to replace it with steel, but it hasn't given me problems, even past 4x.
So in conclusion, I figure they can take 400 psi or so. I imagine brass doesn't fragment as badly as steel also.
