This is a creation that i like to call "Boogaloo", It means fast in some giberish.(thanks Gipetto)
That's right, a 4 inch "power house" with 33.7mm porting. It was designed to accept many calibres, from 33.7mm down to 6mm. It is around 1.5 litres.
I tried to pilot this with a 1/4" ball valve with no success, 1/2"ball valve does well though and makes it a loud mo-fo.
I operate this at around 95 psi.
Did i mention that it leaks? I could fix the leaks but i really can't be bothered with 10psi over 20 seconds.
Boogaloo
Front on- you can see the piston face...just.
assortment of 33.7mm ammo.
piston
Bumper/endcap.

Hey Muff, the bumper is made from Polyurethane, as is the sealing face.
IDK about range, i lobbed a 400grm piece of metal today about 70metres at a 40degree angle, the recoil is really nice
The range of my similar sized combustion was around 100 metres max, i suspect with the right barrel and ammo i could achieve around 200 metres, a t 95 psi that is.

Very nice, though again, shame about the small chamber. where does it leak from, barrel or endcap? If it's from the barrel, why not just bolt on a neoprene disk to the piston the old fashioned way?

Once again Nova, Very nicely done.
I see you have LARGE caliber pimpin ammo too.
Leaking from the screws on the end-cap?

Thanks for the comments guys. Pizlo i would make a tutorial, however i am not even sure that you can buy the same Poly as i use.
As for the leaking i don't think that the sealing face is leaking, i'll check today. The other leaks are from the endcaps and will be fixed when i can be bothered

Even if you could make a tut on the molds, and casting process, I'm sure it would be appritiated. what polly do you use, and what type for the white parts?

I use different hardness Poly for different applications
http://www.erapol.com.au/# There is a link with more info.
As for the white plastic it is Acetal, a hard plastic that is easy to machine.
JSR went to a great deal of trouble making a tutorial for casting Epoxy, the same methods can be used to cast the Poly. (And it gets me out of making a tutorial)
