G'day spudders,

It's done. The first all poly piston tee-valve on files' *Takes a bow :D*. I just finished it today. I didn't have the money to get a 25mm ball valve to actuate it, so I just used a 1/2'' ball valve and tapped it into a 25mm poly end cap.

Specs:

Name: - The BFS (Big F@#kin' Sawn-off)
PSI Range: - 5-300psi (yes the gun works at pressues as low as 5psi)
Chamber: - 600mm 1'' Poly Pipe.
Barrel(s): - 600mm 1/2'' PN18 Pressure pipe
- 1000mm 1/2'' PN18 Pressure pipe
Piston: - Cast hot glue.
Piston travel: - 30mm.

Pic time!

Yes mate it sure is :D. My bike pump broke so I'm forced to use my homemade high pressure pump. I built this gun for 300+psi and with my pump, It's a reality :D.

....Only problem is the pump's low volume. It takes me 25 pumps to get to 100psi.

Nice!!! I like the way your "whammy" style grip looks.
I also like the copper barrel. And the name (BFS).
Good job Mitchza89

Hope to see more pics if you polish 'er up/ paint. 8)

EDIT:Forgot to ask: So you open the trigger and fill through the handle then close the trigger and disconnect the fill right? Thanks Mitch

Thanks very much for that mate :D. I just spun the air chamber around 180' and it makes the perfect stock. The valve setup sits a fraction higher then the stock so everything feels so comfy to hold.

Thank you very much mate. That was the thing I loved about this valve. I was able to set how much pilot I had by tightening the sealing face tube and bringing it closer to the piston housing. It doesn't matter on how long or short your piston is (by a stuff up or not), you can always make an efficient valve by simply tightening or loosening the tube.

Thunderlord, yes mate. I fill and pilot the gun through the ball valve. I had leaking problems with schrader valves and blowguns at high pressures, so I thought I'd kill 2 birds with one stone (wrong thing to say in a spudgun forum....) and get one valve that can do all I want it to.

Nifty little sawn-off rifle there Mitchza. You don't see poly used very often...nice innovation there.

Good job!
