which program?
i know you have probably heard this question a hundred times but i cant find the topics of it. Which tool should i use to find the optimal barrell length to go with my chamber on a pneumatic gun? i have looked through the tools under the "other" section and i cant tell which tool can do this by their descriptions.

ggdt has the gun optimizer function, thats what you are looking for
"whoa... I thought pimpmann was black..."-pyromanic13
spudtech has the general ratios for pnematics on the site somewhere.
don't trust me on this one but i think spudtech says its generally 2:1-4:1
do you have to use paypal to get GGDT? my parents don't like buying stuff from strange sites. i don't think we have paypal.
but with limited testing done by me, i prefer the 2:1 ratio

GGDT is free.
Controlled insanity = Genius

Actually for a pneumatic GGDT really likes a .4:1 or .8:1 ratio.... I don't know why, but in the Gun Optimization tool it always wants a smaller chamber than barrel, but we know that sometimes bigger chambers give much better results....

Note: Before you whine it doesn't work, download the cabinet files (.cab) and put them in the same folder at GGDT.exe

I wish people would stop needing a better signature!

You guys are so stupid sometimes...
Let's say you have a chamber that holds 100 ci. The best barrel for that specific chamber as said by GGDT might be something like 80 ci.
Now if you take that same barrel and increase the chamber to 200 ci then of course it's gonna be more powerful. Duh! But you will get even better results when you increase that barrel to something like 160 ci.
(Note: All these numbers were pulled out of my ass. Don't build your gun to these specs unless I was somehow right.)

Highly doubted, sgort.
Pneumatics typicaly preform most efficiently - if not most powerfully - at ratios way below 1:1... unless they are opperating at low pressures.
djt, that's because that wouldn't make sence with the way the GGDT does buisness.
Have you read the help file on his website? That typicaly clears up issues...
