oh, well I was thinking of some sort of mag that was multiple rows wide, not just one stack...
Your other option is a barrel mag. That would be absolutely awesome if you could figure that one out!

Do not look back, and grieve over the past, for it is gone;
Do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come;
Live life in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.

A Barrel Mag might not actually be that hard......... Just have to find a way so that when the Bolt is in the rearward position, there is something pushing a dart upwards into the breech, and when the bolt is foards, allow a dart to move into the loading path.

Wow, Awesome idea. Since my paintball gun is having problems, I may need to use your idea.
How easy/hard is it to pull the trigger? (How many times can you trigger per second?)
Also, I could not find the three-way you are using? Was it custom, or do you have a link?

The trigger is easy to pull. The RoF is determined by a lot of factors, mainly the pressure you're running, the pilot and cylinder volumes, and the type of cylinder you use.
Contact Pneumadyne and ask about a 3-way, normally open valve. They will have to make one for you since they aren't available on their store. It doesn't take long for them to make one. What's great is that they don't mind small quantity orders.
Don't forget you can also use a slide-check valve.
