Well guys a few days ago I purchased another Airsoft Gun, this time its another AEG (Automatic Electric Gun).

The gun is a CYMA AKM CM036, the reason I got the gun is because it actually has a very strong reinforced gearbox that can handle a sp150 spring. The hopup in the gun is pretty good but the bucking in the hopup is not soo good. So I also purchased a new Systema bucking and a new Madbull Tightbore Barrel(6.03mm). The gun shoots at 400-450 FPS with .20g BBs.

I also purchased a AK Drum Mag and a 3 point sling.

Here is a picture of the gun provided by the Website I purchased it from:

Now this is when the project comes in, I've been wanting to make a few attachments and other things to go along with the AKM. One of these attachments is a BS-1 "Tishina" / "Kanarejka" GSN-19 silent grenade launcher.

Here is a picture of the real one:

So this will be one of my current projects that I will be working on.

I was thinking about using my 32mm Burst Disk Cartridges for this launcher but I am open to other suggestions as well.

So what do you guys think; sound like a fun project?

Why not copy the original and use a piston to fire the grenades?

well I was thinking of that but the fact that I use these BDC's for a lot of different launchers would make it easy and more modular.

Why not a mechanically triggered bust disk, like Sgort's QCTBDC? It would allow a traditional "trigger", so to speak.

I like how well those burst disk cartridges work, but I think it would be much easier to handle in a game if it had a more traditional trigger setup.
If you can get a different activation, i would say go for it.

Lets keep in mind though that an actual traditional trigger would be many times cooler and many more times effective.

Well I decided to stop on this project for the time being.. but If I do decide to re-start this project, it will be done on my friend's 4 axis CNC mill. It would not operate on my BDC and it would function like the real thing.

If completed on the mill, it would be added as an item for sale on his website.
