hello, i am now thinking to make the hybrid workable again, the main reason is that i want a badass video of it in slow motion where a dart penetrates a 1/4" steel plate with some additional material on its front side.

the problem is that i got a new computer and formatted the old harddrive to use it in the new one, so all my pictures is lost.

i would need some help to get them back..
if you have any pictures of my gun and damage saved i would like you to upload them so it can be used in the video. this applies to every other gun i made and showed off.

also i promised starman a golf ball at a watermelon a while back, that video might be interesting on high speed :)

thanks, hope someone has something for me.

If you reformatted your drive and didn't back up your files, their gone. Don't you remember what you have posted in the showcase section? They are your cannons after all. :P

You never posted the cannon to my knowledge.
The most we saw of it was when larda was machining it, before any type of metering, etc.

If you get a good data recovery program you could still pick through your harddrive and probably get some of your pictures back.

If the harddrive hasnt been completely filled with other stuff yet, it should be possible to retrieve most of the pictures. But after formatting, you may need more then a simple recovery program.
But, whatever you do, do not overwrite the whole harddrive again.

If the pictures are really valuable to you you could pay alot of money and let a company do it for you.
But if they are so valuable to you you should've backed them up in the first place.

EDIT:
Did you format the HD with the same file system (probably NTFS)?
Did you format or quick-format? I think this is really important on determining the chance of succes of retrieving the files.

i did post the cannon with a good amount of 7x videos and damage but when it was there for a while and i didn't get any response at all i decided to keep the work for myself untill everyone forget about it and the gun looks better.

the HDD is not quick-formatted, and the reason i did it was because i have not had any intrest or thoughts at all on firing the UPGBH10x again, but i just got the idea some days ago and it seems logical to use a gun like that.

i have tried recovering them, with no luck. found pictures of a few pixels and the rest was gray/blueish.

but i guess i can take a load of pictures everytime i fire it and photoshop them to look a little different from each other.

i fount some pictures on my photobucket acount but it was only one picture of the gun and the rest was damage.

anywas, thanks for the help :)
