Okay, what I'm trying to do is work out the electronics for HEAL 2, which is more complex than I thought it was going to be. I'm great with basic electric theory, but start asking me to do anything more sophisticated... and it kind of breaks down a bit.
I'm not helped by my skills at Teflon soldering (i.e. completely non-stick).
I'm fine with pipe soldering - electronic soldering... nope.
Jebus help me if I finally get around to making a complex coilgun.
It's not essential that I get this electronics sorted, but I figure it'll be neat if it works - I'm not sure the idea has ever been applied to a spudgun before, and so I guess it'll be unique.

I'm starting plans for my sniper model 2. its gonna be a piston valve. (2nd attempt at a piston, lets hope it goes well) I"m hoping for more power and alot better placement of parts. if you've seen my first one you'll understand I didnt exactly put the schrader in an easy access spot. lol

Well I'm a bit annoyed. After turning a perfect hole in the middle of the coupling and epoxying it isn't straight. Trust gravity and 2 degrees. Should have done a press fit, stupid me.
Well now it's either smelt the epoxy with a torch or give it a break. If I cut the barrel down any more it will be too short to be effective.
I'll probably just wait till I get a lathe, buy a milling attachment for it and use the materials I have to build a PCP. Mum also has an old soda stream bottle (fizzes water) that they no longer re-fill. I was thinking 500 psi+ pressure chamber..she's not too keen so I'll keep an eye out for a small fire extinguisher.
