Mini spud gun pistol, Help me choose the color

I've built a good number of minis, but this is one of my favorites so far. I don't really know why, but it shoots with a much greater velocity that othe guns with the same chamber size. It has a 7 mm barrel, but i have a pen tube that i can stick down it so that it can shoot airsoft bbs. Besides BBs, It shoots Q-tips, Nails, Pencils, Pens, and Blowdarts

It's alright, nothing absolutely spectacular but who cares? The funner the better eh.

As for upgrades, how about spark strip, fan and metered fuel injection? No jokes..

Where are these fans? The smallest I could find was like 26 mm on mwave.

Smallest I've actually acquired so far is a 17mm fan through the company Maplin, but I've tweaked it down to just a hair over 15mm across, so I can potentially make an advanced combustion in 22mm OD (20.3mm ID) copper pipe - which is normally what I consider a barrel.

The problem is, making my micro metering system is a teensy bit fiddly (an understatement which makes calling the sun "a little hot" look mild in comparison.)
I figure I'll go with a piezo sparker - not really fancy, but HV electronics on this kind of scale is pretty infeasible given my soldering skill.

Sorry mate, already done it in 1/2"- 12.5ish mm.. (though the pipe is slightly larger than that, it's still smaller than 22)





Yes, it has a spark strip (3 gap), metered fueling and a fan. Plus burst disk and is airtight so it could be hybridded.

Unless you want a competition..I'll go down to a 6mm chamber, any smaller and you'll have beaten me..

Still, it would have merit a plenty.

Nice, if a little ghetto in appearance - but yours isn't fully self contained. I'm doing mine with on-board (and hopefully one touch) metering.

Agreed- the original chamber was painted and glossed but something in the clear coat disagreed with something else, resulting in soup.

Also before getting the camera out (good one) I should have cleaned up glue webs and the such, and added the smaller switch for the fan.

I could definitely have mounted the fuel pod and a 1-2 ml syringe to it (I used a 10) but it would have over-bulked it, and I used it for other minis anyway.

I'm a lazy bastard that hasn't got the persistence for any kind of prolonged contest.

The mini combustion is really just something to pass the time with while I'm at university, and because it's a bit of a novelty. I've never really been overly fussed by combustions or hybrids as a concept. Sure, if I ever get the opportunity to sort the full-auto hybrid, I'll take it, but other than that...

...well, I don't really indulge in doing things which lots of other people have done before. If there's a chance to do something new and be pioneering, sure. Otherwise, I'm not really interested.

Heck, I'm half surprised I've even started to go through with HEAL 2, because to be fair, it's nothing at all new, being little more than the love-child of HEAL 1 and the Eclipse.

i just added an on board fueling system, and I'm working on a pump. The pics should be up tomorrow or later today

Here's some upgrades, Fuel injection and cooler barrel. I'm about to add a pump, or fan. Can I have some more ideas for upgrades. And how many seconds of butane should i use.
