I don't think this qualifies as a "HELP ME" so I'm putting it here. I'm Wondering what a copper pneumatic sniper rifle would cost. I want to use the copper pipe for the stock and the rest of the rifle. I want it to be a simple ball valve. I live in Texas and I want to here how much a rifle like this would cost me. I haven't drawn up a design yet, but I think it is a waste of time if I figure out that it will cost me too much to build. So I need a response soon so i can start drawing some sketches for this gun.

well, the cost would obviously be determined by size, a 2 foot barrel is less expensive then a 5 foot one. google says that 1/2" pipe is ~2-3 dollars per foot.

edit: spelling

I do think you need more information for us to give you a better idea. A 1/2 inch tee is around 1.50 and a 2 inch tee will cost around 20 bucks. The price varies so much from size to size. There are too many variables.

My copper cannon with a 1/2 inch marble barrel and a 3/4 inch chamber cost around $110 to make, but that includes a QEV that was $25. I also had the propane torch and solder supplies before hand.

I am of the opinion that a nice copper rifle deserves more than a ball valve, but that is me.

hmmmm..... I'm thinking 1/2 for all the pipes that make the structure, and an intercahngeable barrel

I built a 1/2" barrel, 3/4" chamber copper piston gun for about $50.
It was an over under with a length of about 5' 5".

Hmm...right

"I'm wondering" = help me with something I want to know.

Regardless of that, I fail to see how your topic qualifies as a theory, maybe a query, but not a theory. Topic Moved.
