What computer modeling programs are commonly used to create 3D models of cannons? Are there any that I could get for free?

I forgot about Sketchup! I actually used once or twice a few years ago for a different purpose. Your drawings are excellent,must have taken a long time to make all of those!

Yes, they can take anywhere from 6 to 8 hours each for the simple ones, like the tire valves.
The more complex ones can take several days.
Sketchup takes an hour to convert from the dwg files I use.
