I would recommend educated guesses, otherwise you might not last long in this hobby, or your chosen career path

Yep Iv got a gauge on the chamber im filling.. just picked up a compression fitting..
About to mount it all up on a board and such..
Believe it or not Im actually particular about my builds and I like stuff to be done well.. you'll see by the unghettoness of my gun when I post pics tonight

I'll add that you can't connect 240VAC around the wrong way, though if neutral is tied to earth it can trip an RCD or breaker.

Kk, pics will be up tomorrow.. slight delay in finishing as it turns out the compressor hose I bought isnt nearly as flexible as I'd like.. Any solutions? I was thinking maybe braided fuel lines or something.. Needs to have a fair bit of flex and be able to handle up to 300psi

Thats what I meant when I said I already tried compressor tubing.. But maybe the stuff I got just sucked in the flexibility department.. I need something that will bend in about a 1.5 inch radius without kinking.

ohh I finally found the company that produces tubing I use. They have spiral tubing and it can be used with the fittings mentioned earlier

At last I have a couple of teaser photos for you..
There will be more to come but for now its all I had time for..

Got a little testing in this afternoon.. initial tests resulted in the connector pipe seen in the pic bursting at 200psi which I expected. I have replaced this now with some high pressure fuel line, but Im working on making the connections on the pipe more air tight, hose clamps just dont cut it..
for testing I just ran the bottle screwed straight into the Tee junction.. at 160 psi with a light trigger finger I could manage 4-6 single shots.. I need to work on the mag feeder though and put a spring in there as I was just reloading after each shot.. the mag screws into the side of the blowgun where there is a hole as you can see below.. Im pretty happy with the power, from across the garage (8 metersish) it went straight through a can and ricocheted all around the garage.. I know a can isnt all that much to get through, but Its enough for me for now.
I might try and find a co2 canister (pretty sure coles has some bigish ones) that I can fill up to like 500psi and run a reg to 100psi so I get gte some more shots in, like JSR mentioned earlier..

As for the compressor it goes really well, fills that little tank to 200 in about 15 seconds, the release noise is a bit of a worry though, gonna have to get a valve thingo.. the little black box in the pic is just a project box with a switch in it, just to tidy up the wiring a bit.
It does get a little warm though, is this normal? I put in a fair bit of oil to make sure its oiled... It gets warm, and stays warm for a fair amount of time after use..

Anyways, let me know what you all think of my first build

Looks good and yes, you do need a bleed valve on the air line for safe disconnecting, especially if you're going to up the pressure.

It wasnt really loud or anything.. just sprung a small hole and the air hissed out..I could see the tube starting to bubble, turned the compressor off, then it popped..

They are rated to 150psi, so if I regulated the air after the tank to like 140 they should be right.. Is that the kind of thing you use? I know you sent me that link but its in some random language

well I think they can handle a little bit more than just 150 psi (the same type worked great for me ~ 500 psi).

But mind you - if you use pressures higher than recomended by the manufacturer it might end up pretty bad for you

Anyway... you can get HP versions of fittings (either rated to 60bar or 150bar). It's not that they are a lot more expensive than regular ones. The only problem is finding them

Haha yeah thats where I got the link I sent you from.. But like I said, they are rated to 150psi.. But that wont be a problem for me anyways, I dont need this 500psi powa you speak of.. just the capacity in the tank..
On another note, has anyone heard of people having problems importing paintball tanks into australia?
