Ok basically, im making a pnuematic gun, double 4" resevoirs released by a pair of piston valves etc etc.
I am having trouble deciding myself what colors i like.
Im going to do it two different colors, one color i figured is too plain and three gets too messy.
Right now my ideas for colors are
Red/Black (mainly black with fittings red probably, and maybe some design work)
Blue/Yellow
Blue/Grey
Black/grey
Black/ Yellow (i figure this will look to bee-ish)
So far thats all ive come up with
Please help me out and vote in the poll, if you dont like any of the ideas and thing something would look cooler, please post it ^^
Thanks in advance.
-Mihlrad
P.S please no bullshit postwhore things like, oooo go with pink and purple.
Help me with my color scheme.

Use your imagination!!! Don't let some retards over the internet influence your aesthetic judgement, (myself included)!!!!!
It takes all the fun out of it to have somebody else pick colors for you. Jesus, don't you have a wife to do that for you?!?!?

Yellow is just to... yellow! So any yellow combo I would say no to.
Red - Black, looks good, but I think in our usage it has to high of a contrast difference.
Of the ones you listed I like:
Blue - Grey
Black - Grey

I'm not trying to post postwhore posts. I was just saying that color scheme is usually something that people try to decide on by themselves.
Most of my recent cannons aren't painted at all. I just use clear primer and file off all of the lettering and I'm good to go.
If I *had* to paint a cannon though, I would go with green, black, red, and gold, (not yellow). Why stick to just two colors?
If you want, you can "bunch" components together and paint individually different colors. Like all the fittings paint one color, the chambers one color, the barrel another color, and all the hosing and accesories another color, or multiple colors.
If I *had* to choose an option from your list, I would choose Navy blue and gray. Navy blue is one of my favorite colors.
Also, I think one of the LAST things I would do would be to postwhore. What the hell are you gonna do with fricking post count anyway???? It's not like your gonna get $0.05 for each post or anything.
But yeah... blue and grey.

Mine has a blue chamber with black electrical tape over parts of it, I think it looks pretty cool, I was going for Red, White, and Blue, the barrel is now blue tipped, with spiraling red and white.

Take a picture of it unpainted, then go into paint and screw around with colors on a digital version.
You could always buy some decal paper or something that you can just print patterns onto, then just wrap that around the gun, you could do Camo easily, and add wording with no problem.
