I like the first one better, but I found one problem with it, it requires you to pull back the slide to reload. So this is my new goals
-semi automatic/or maybe not?
-compact
-pistol sized
-air tank in the pistol grip
-doesn't have to be powerful, as long as it can really hurt at close range (10 feet?)
-shoot small ammunition
-shoot multiple types of ammunition(can be achieved through multiple types of barrels
That seems like an awesome gun, but I do not want the bolt for reloading, however, with my skills and tools, I actually doubt I can make anything remotely near the criteria I listed above.

I hope you mean that it will hurt inanimate objects. It's taboo to speak of firing at living things on this forum., unless of course it is an airsoft or paintball gun.really hurt at close range
The gun in the video was built by someone with either machining facilities, or the unholy hands of Beezus.
Moving along...
Semi-automatic? Search the forum and see what works.
Compact? Very doable, given some ingenuity.
Pistol grip air tank? I would suggest a main firing chamber in the grip, followed by a secondary chamber elsewhere. (regulated Co2 hooked up)
Small calibur? This will lend to it's compactness.
Multiple caliburs? Isn't one enough?
so many muchness

Multiple caliber means like nails, or bb's or something, and by meaning it'll hurt, I meant the piece of plywood I have downstairs in my basement, and when those stupid ninja pirates(pirate ninjas?) come back to get me...hehe. I still need some good designs though, I created one but I don't know if its any good. If I make the air chamber in the grip, I would also surround the barrel with metal, and leave some space between the barrel and the casing for some more airspace.

JACKPOT!But I need the plans, materials and my own ideas into that

I hate spoonfeeding, but here's a helpful shopping list:
- blowgun
- schrader valve
- 1/4" nipples
- assorted o-rings
- shock pump
- epoxy adhesive
That's your minimum outlay, you also need barrel materials.
With spherical projectiles, you can make a semi/full auto design.

I have one of those duster things where you spray compressed air into a crevice to dust it out, is it possible to get the trigger thing for that and mod it into a blog gun trigger? Also, the thing I need the most right now...is a job...I got no money, lol
Also, with the O-ring seal method (valveless?) what kind of projectiles do I need?

Also, I would like to pull back the top to load the first projectile, any ideas how I can make that work?(Also, doing it like this, pulling the slide back while holding down the trigger can make it full auto, I already think that a piston can be at the back to load the ammo, but I dunno how to make it work with the trigger)
Whats the nipple for?
Also, I went to home depot, I couldn't find the blowgun trigger or the schrader valve, but I found everything else.

It's possible to hack it but I doubt it will take as much pressure as a blowgun and you're going to need to be pretty handy with epoxy.nadjatee1996 wrote:I have one of those duster things where you spray compressed air into a crevice to dust it out, is it possible to get the trigger thing for that and mod it into a blow gun trigger?
We got that, some of us were in your shoes once, but it didn't stop us bodging together projectile launchers from stuff we had lying around the garageAlso, the thing I need the most right now...is a job...I got no money, lol
Spherical and regular, like 0.177" steel BBs or good quality 6mm airsoft BBsAlso, with the O-ring seal method (valveless?) what kind of projectiles do I need?
This design, though really given your lack of experience I would go for a simple cloud design and rely on trigger discipline for semi-auto.I would like to pull back the top to load the first projectile, any ideas how I can make that work?
Has no one told you about the birds and the beesWhats the nipple for?
*ahem*
you epoxy your barrel/s and schrader into them and you can connect them to the blowgun, something like this:
eBay is usually a cheaper solution. Blowguns are basic pneumatic attachments which shouldn't be hard to come by if you shop around, as to schrader valves, when I started out I used to hack them from bicycle inner tubes like so.I went to home depot, I couldn't find the blowgun trigger or the schrader valve, but I found everything else.
In general, the project you're proposing is quite an ambitious one for a n00b with a budget of $0.00. I would really recommend making something simpler first (like this ghetto BBMG I made when I was away from my tools) to get some experience with materials and techniques first before embarking on a compact high pressure build. You can alsouse your air duster directly or buy yourself aCO2 tyre inflator as a small portable high pressure source and trigger.

I'm going to take your advice and make a smaller version first, I can cut a whole into a duster bottle (empty) for a valve and then attack a barrel to the nozzle, meanwhile, I'm gonna draw down my current designs for my ambitious as hell BB-gun and make it when I have the funding.

Good man, never a good idea to start at the deep end, especially if you have no previous experience with materials etc.
