it might, but two issues I see are you dont block of air from the pilot so when you pulll the blowgun you let air out of your main chamber as well as the pilot, a three way valve would be much better suited. Also on some of the regulators I have seen the bottom port is on the low side so you wouldnt be able to fill the large tank, you would need a T fitting before the regulator.
