Is it just me, or shouldn't the o-ring detent be more to the left in the diagram, so that they aren't simply propelled into the bolt?

The o-ring looks like it's there to seal the bolt, not act as a detent.

correct :D I have used a machined aluminium tube for detent, 5mm long, a bb fits perfectly inside, and with a little bit of humility/lub, air-tight seal 8)

For those having trouble finding BB's in Aus there is this website that ships everywhere as SLINGSHOT ammo is legal everywhere. You can get 750 4.5mm steel bb's for $12

http://www.outdoorswarehouse.com.au/cat ... red&page=2

Also how can i build a Hammer valve with common parts and limited resources e.g Bunnings??

Where can i get a barrel online for 4.5 mm steel bb's???

What's the best homemade pump to build with limited resources (again bunnings and online)??

Thanks jazzman

For a 4.5mm gun, a blow gun will be fine.

good pump how to. Should be able to get all the parts at bunnings, but i say get a fridge compressor.

i don't think you would be able to get the BBs in vic because slingshots aren't allowed

Crna Legija

Is there an actual how to for a easy hammer valve with common parts?

The slingshot handles and complete kit are illegal but the pellets are not in all states of Australia

If you what a 4.5mm bore then all you need is a bow gun. it will have plenty flow for such small ammo.

Jazzman the blowgun in Crna's drawing is backwards.
Wyz I'm sure that would be very helpful to a lot of people.

Wyz, please do. Make it as simple as possible though, so that people with basic tools such as drills and hack saws will be able to make it.

Don´t worry, I only have basic tools too :)
But drill and saw are needed, I didn´t use a dremel, but if you have one, it will help, as I consider my dremel as my best friend :D

okay, so I've been reading this forum for a few days now as I have been making my own blowgun valve air rifle, and I just want to ask, how did you make your suppressor?
