first off i would like to say that this site is way kool

I'm new to spud launchers and to spudfiles

so this is my very first cannon that i have built. lol and working on my 2ed, same concept as the first just trying to make it look cleaner. i found some plans for the cannon that i thought was kool. 8) and thought that i could share them with you guys and see what you think.

Beatiful build, but why longer chamber??? Nd you gonna want a longer barrel increase performance a lot!!

Nice launcher! Congrats on quality and look,on a first build. This is my first posted launcher. link Before that it was duct tape 4x2 reducer and duct tape to hold the joints on.

Cam-lock adapter, multiple barrels, igniter grip, propane holder, rubber hose on the hose clamps to keep from scratching, stun gun igniton?, and chamber extension. Wow!

Very nice build. Clean construction, plenty of electronics, metered fueling... you definitely did your homework.

Only thing I could say is in agreement with jsefcik (*shudders*), that you should make a longer barrel. Especially with that chamber extension.

the extra chamber was just fooling around. since i made it the same size as the chamber ill just double the barrel length.

do you guys think that i can run 2 12 volt pc fans on one 9 volt batt?

i got rained out from work to day so i put a lot of time in on the second gen cannon. on this cannon i was trying get rid of the hose clamps and hide the wires as much as possible.

do you guys think that i can run 2 12 volt pc fans on one 9 volt batt?

Your average case fan doesn't draw a whole lot of current at just 9 volts (something like 50 mA for a few models I'm looking at), so two wired in parallel with the battery ought to work fine. You'd do better with two 9v's in series... all the PC fans I've used had no complaints running on 18 volts. If you're worried about it, use a 12VDC regulator.

By the way, much better pictures this go-around... really shows off that paint job.
