Friends.

You cannot sell on eBay. Setting up an online store is not worth the effort unless you plan to be a long-term proffitable organization.

Friends are often interested enough to buy it if you sell for the cost of parts or just under/just over depending on how much they really like it.

You can't sell cannons on here either. Find some local friends to take em off your hands, and/or give one as a gift to someone.

Steve, I see your point, but...

Pipe and fittings are expensive. Say, for instance, you've built a few cannons, and don't use one or more of them anymore. If you sell that unused cannon to a friend, you recover some of the costs for the parts (which you can then put towards a new gun), and your friend gets a cannon for less than it would have cost him to build it.

As far as I know, you can sell cannons on craigslist (in the USA only, http://www.craigslist.com ). As for on spudfiles... just PM eachother, guys!!!

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

If you guys haven’t caught on...

Both Gort and PC [the owner of this site], have associated themselves with BC, and his store. Advertised on every page at the top right below the banner. There was once a classified section, although because its competition, and its rare use, it was closed. Quite honestly I think I’m the only one who sold anything as a result of it.

MisterSteve124, are you on crack? As with the current situation he already has the guns built. So this isn’t a proposal to make guns, just a break as far money that he has already spent. He was inquiring if anyone was interested in such. A fairly good question if you ask me, but with the sites recent dislike to harboring any threats to BC's store, I don’t think SpudFiles is the place.

Gort nailed it. Its going to have to be your friends as both SpudFiles and SpudTech wont tolerate such. I guess you could try SpudShot, but he sells stuff also. Just invite friends over and shoot your gun. I don’t think I have meet someone that hasn’t offered to purchase my cannons.

The #1 reason I have never allowed full cannons to be sold directly on SpudFiles is liability. If you build a cannon, sell it to someone and they blow themselves up/shoot someone/etc and they get asked where did you get this weapon guess who gets in trouble. YOU! If they say they got it on SpudFiles, guess who gets in trouble. ME!

There used to be a classifieds section on here, however since no one ever really used it I took it down.

I wouldn't suggest doing things that are against forum rules via PM either. Just because it means "private message" doesn't mean "oh I can do whatever I want since PCGUY can't see it" (or so you think).

I wouldn't suggest for anyone to build cannons for sale on the net unless they are fully prepared to get sued if something bad happens.

Gort, get with the times!
:-p

PC, out of formality, one must ask, why is it that you strictly prohibit the sales of guns via your site, yet associate yourself with someone who in fact sells completed guns? Bit of a mixed message eh?

Understand, I have nothing against you, just so that I and potentially others can be informed. I see several ways one could bullsh*t there selves out of this question. Although I wouldn’t suggest such as that answer might lead to thoughts of your potential incompetence providing a un-true answer. [I know Im probably gonna kick up a lot of sh*t, but I think its a good question... Keeping you on your toes :-p]
