I am still working on my piston gun. I have tried everything wood to hockey pucks, but i just cant get a seal. So i am going to make a hot glue piston. It is going to be 3 by 3. So i went and got some 3 inch pipe tonight, but before i start putting hot glue in the pipe, i was wondering if there is anything that you can spray/put on the pipe to make the piston slide out when i am done with out making the hot glue all holly?
trying to decide on a new project, probably something small.

Silicone spray works a treat. But any fine lubricant that does not degrade polymers (ie solvents) will do.

Well, I think wd40 has kerosene and oil in it, but it shouldnt dissolve pvc. If you are paranoid use pam.

If you feel like it, and your piston is serviceable, find the nearest hobby shop that sells R/C car parts. Ask them for some 50 to 80 weight shock oil. That is your best bet. I think it should be around 3-4 dollars a bottle.
I wish I had a better signature...
