well this is my ugly sawn off shotgun..look later in the posit for upgrades and things i am going to do....ok on the matter of this gun. if u couldnt guess who inspired me it was btb..and jim/lsd..but anyway this gun will be run at 300 psi as i am going to lowes to get a regulator and a c02 tank for this... for now i have only went to 125 and i have discovered a leak in my jb welding..
Upgrades-Improvements:
Flat black paintjob..
New chamber style
Shorter piston and shorter pilot
regulated c02
better looking overall.. so stay posting at the best site ever and u wont miss my upgrades!!!
Edit- Specs:
24" brass 3/4 barrel
6" stainless chamber
bored out fitting for very smooth pilotting therefor i can pilot this with the chrader if i want to
very light teflon piston
1/4 ball valve pilot

There are rules, and then there are hundred dollar bills.
Looking good. I always wanted to build a shotgun, but I knew that I could not. I would have a sawn off chamber, a sawn off valve, but a sniper barrel. After learning about ratio's and such, I would just stick on some six foot barrel to get maximum performance instead of having a good looking sawn off barrel, and this would defeat the purpose completely and ruin the aesthetics of the launcher.
Very nice, i think it is really cool. so you know about how fast it shoots? how did you get the copper inside of the tee? if you didnt, what doest the piston seal against?
can i see the piston please? what was you sealing face?
id also like to see the co2 system if you could post that too.

"physics, gravity, and law enforcement are the only things that prevent me from operating at my full potential" - not sure, but i like the quote

By 6" chamber you mean 6" in length, right? That doesn't look too much like a 6" diameter pipe nipple.
Nice launcher, though. I would like to see this Teflon piston as well.

naw, although i have seen it on shirtsbtw, did you by chance get your "G_ f_ck y__rs_lf <-- would u like to buy a vowel?" thng from ma t-shirt? ive seen it on one.

i'm having some problems with ggdt it says that my projectile is going 20 feet...at 300 psi...7 feet at 100 psi..something is wrong..so you know about how fast it shoots? how did you get the copper inside of the tee?
the copper fits through the 1 x 3/4 bushing so i just jb welded it there..
piston pics will be up when i post it paintedcan i see the piston please? what was you sealing face?

copper

Same problem here... I just can't build small launchers (with rare exceptions). I look at it, then think I could bolt on a 1 metre barrel and chamber instead of a 50cm one, and that would almost double the power.rmich732 wrote:I always wanted to build a shotgun, but I knew that I could not. Some people go by the logic that if they double the pressure and halve the barrel length, then they'll get the same power.
My logic is closer to: "Double the pressure, keep the barrel length the same, that's double the power."
They look great, but performance clocks above appearance as far as I'm concerned. Launcher length is always a battle between power and practicality/storage space for me.
@ Spudthug: Nice sawn-off BTW. As a -ve point, I would say that it doesn't look that comfortable to hold at the moment. Perhaps you should look into a nice grip of sorts as one of your upgrades?
Novacastrian: How about use whatever the heck you can get your hands on?
frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.
