i love the chamber setup! but it does need paint.I just modded the sprinkler valve on my new gun that i will post tonight hopefully.It really makes a difference!

i like the the looks of the primer. i wouldn't ruin it with paint. just primer up your barrel to match and you're good to go. no, seriously nice design and performance.

Might I ask where you got the fps measurer? How long does the thing take to pressurize? Also, I'm not quite sure what you mean by the tire valve popping off. Do you mean that the threads were coming out of the plug?

Hi noob of noobs. I bought the chronograph from a site that sold paintball and pellet guns. It was a long while back so i dont remember.

As for the pumping time, it depends on the psi; it takes around several seconds to reach 30psi and can take over a min to reach 150psi with my air compressor. I estimated the volume of my gun's air chamber to be around 38ci.

And what i meant about the tire valve was that the whole tire valve itself was being pushed outward from the pvc cap by the pressure at around 150psi.

By the way, although this would be a bit impractical on your current gun's design, I'd recommend using threaded metal parts to attach schraders. You don't have to drill them, and it's a bit easier. Just adapt some threaded PVC parts to Metal threads, and you can size the pieces down till your schrader fits in them. I'm pretty sure this is safer than making your own holes, and it's a lot easier to do sucessfuly than drilling a hole.
