Ere, I think I bent my barrel

On a more serious note though, it does make you think about spudguns.

How do we get more power? with a bigger chamber. What do we need with a bigger chamber? a longer barrel. So there comes a time when the whole gun is so damn long and unwieldy it's no good.

If you could curl the barrel round the chamber, like the pistol above then you could have more power in a shorter, more ergonomic barrel.

Now we just have to learn how to curl pipe.

That is a good idea but the problem is if you bent it would disclude a lot of ammo because they would be moderatly long and strait and wouldnt be able to be pushed down the barrel for example a CO2 cartrige.

And more importantly, a barrel like that will actually try to uncoil during the shot.

It's the way pressure gauges work. They have a long curved arm, and because the outer surface has a higher area, the force from the pressure is greater - which will put stresses on the barrel.

It's an interesting idea, but not one I'm going to try.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

What about increased friction from the constant change in direction, surely that would be an issue?

pipe benders, Wouldent that work to bend steel barrels to the desiered efffect?
