What to do with a Piston Valve

The chambers are stacked in an attempt to save length and keep the thing easier to manage.

It looks like it would be awkward to shoot. Though it is somewhat interesting.

Wouldn't one chamber be easier to manage? It would save having to buy an elbow as well as an end cap, and it would be alot easier to pinpoint any problems you may come across with the chamber(s).

And I think i can recall JSR stating that the optimum chamber to barrel ratio is 1:1, without the second chamber you would be almost spot on.

Hi,

The classic 2 chamber gun is: Attach a tee directly to the valve (OK maybe via a threaded something). The 2 ends of the tee face sideways. Attach 2 90 deg elbows to the tee ends, so the openings now face forwards. Put 2 pipes there.
The chambers double as stands - the cannon can stand on the ground by itself, and be launched from that position too.

Thanks Soren, I modified my plans so now I have a dual chamber and a single chamber that I can thread on there
All made possible by the 45 feet of 2" pvc pipe in my garage.
