Well when you have it loaded with 3 shells and you fire one.. that one becomes lighter than the other ones. So naturally gravity will pull the other two down, thus rotating the barrels. I fired the next shell and it becomes lighter thus the last shell/barrel rotates down. This effect increases even more when i remove the shells that I shot.

Wow, I like the way of rotating those barrels!
But dont they spin and wobble while moving?

What is the firing mechanism to actually fire off a cartridge?
Till the day I'm dieing, I'll keep them spuddies flying, 'cause I can!

a button on the back of the co2 inflator. and no the barrels dont spin around and move while moving unless I roll on the ground... in which case it auto corrects itself anyways. Its like a gyroscope in that aspect.

If you dont already have a design for the co2 inflator, you could try this, and then just paint the co2 inflator.

I will post a link to the cartridges from here. I probably won't be able to post a video until after 27th.

Just curious ANT have you seen the video of one of these cartridges firing?

yeah for sure:) its look pretty nice. Isnt there a way though that you could precharge the cylinder and burst ehm with a small pin which is attached to the trigger. Btw you are kiddin me that you have not heard about solar> he won the big prize:

lol I didnt know you meant that gun, of course I know about solar's revolver but no that is not where I got my idea from... I just decided to make a multi barrel grenade launcher out of a few spare parts.

I could do a trigger system with a reverse spring to slide the bolt back and pierce the cartridges but this is just as easy. Besides I would much rather have a front or side grip anyways for this beast.

Maybe for my rotating 12 barrel I might have something but that wont be for a while.

That's actually damned ingenious, although I assume you won't be able to cant the system too significantly...
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

From what I can see you can turn/rotate it anyway you want

Pretty slick!
Gravity reload… HA! Now that is cool.

What’s next?
Perhaps you could build on auto-cannon based loosely off the Autococker mechanism.

Bah… fine… I’ll go work on mine…

Nice! Preloaded cartridges seem to be a prevalent method of getting semi-automatic firing. I don't think I would like the gravity reload system too much in a combat situation, though. I'd be too worried of a "jam". Perhaps some sort of ball-bearing locker to keep the barrels aligned with the gasket and to keep the drum from moving when running around or diving into the dust? The ball-bearings would allow enough of a grip so that the drums don't move around wantonly, but will rotate when you turn the drum manually.

Good job!
