Wow pocket. Could you have been any more of a jerk? Its not like he started a whole new thread to ask how to pilot through a shrader. He asked a question that is complete ok to ask, especially since SOMEONE ELSE ASKED IT ABOVE WITH NO ANSWER. Sorry about the caps. I get a little angry....

Just look at his other 2 posts and you will see why pocket did that, and I have already PM'd MrC. about him. This dude is starting to be more and more like Thepipesoflife2, before He was banned.

Hmm. Well, i see your point. But im still not going to completely dicredit this post he had made. It was completely ok for him to ask that question. I do not support his decision in bumping old topics with dumb bunny "drawings", however.

But then again, he may not even care how the man pilots his gun. Could have just posted for a post count.

Well, wether he cares or not, i do.

How do you pilot this gun? Im sure you do so via the shrader valve, but what method do you use?

In your gun, does the piston seal the chamber or is there a tiny bit of space?
And also sweet gun

Im curious Sandman. Imtrying to build something similar but i am unable to get the piston to seal. Did you use any tricks? Also what was your selaing face. If it was tire rubber, how many layers of it did you use?

Well, i would jsut love to shoot myself in the foot for never running across it. I have a standard Dell mouse pad. The one that comes with most Dell computers. This is the stuff right? Because i dont use the pad.

I had figure neoprene would be softer since so many people reccomend it as such a good sealing face.

I mean this in a very respectful way: I kind of like having a girl around here. Not in a flirting sense or snything though. More because its kind of like a motherly thing you know. Instead of pointing out the engineering involved and what not, you point out the fact that its cute and inventive. In a way this is something i would expect a mother to say. Its nice.

And PLEASE do not get me wrong. I do not mean to offend you or demean you because you are a girl. I have no doubt you will find your way around a spudders workshop in no time. Actually seems as though you can already.

Mouse pads are foamed up neoprene. You may get it to seal but won't be as good as the real neoprene rubber. You can get the real thing at Mcmaster. Model 9013K272 is 1/8" and ideal stock to have around for sealing faces.

A little plumbers grease will usually assist making it seal better.
